- The Users Meeting of Cavity Spectroscopy aims to promote mutual communication among experimentalists employing spectroscopic methods with an optical cavity, e.g., cavity ringdown spectroscopy, cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy, interferometer, etc.
The reason for starting this meeting was that there had been no place where researchers engaged in this spectroscopic technique could talk or freely report their ideas, ongoing status, and outcomes. However, this meeting has developed into a forum for active discussion and exchanging ideas since its first held in 2019. This year, we will hold the 7th meeting on 18 December 2025, by Zoom and in person at RIKEN in Wako, Saitama. We are honored to announce that Dr. Qizhong Liang, JILA, USA, and Dr. Ryosuke Sugimoto, The University of Tokyo, will give us the invited talks. There will be two sessions: English and Japanese. We would be delighted if you could consider attending and contributing to this meeting.

- このミーティングは、キャビティー分光法を中心とした光学キャビティーを用いた測定方法のユーザー相互の情報交換を行います。キャビティー分光法は、国内外に広く普及し、分子の構造や反応の解明、更に濃度測定に威力を発揮しています。しかし、その普及にも関わらず、ユーザー間の交流は少ない状況にありました。通常の学会発表は、結果に重点が置かれ、ユーザーの立場に立った装置の開発やその問題点等の議論が十分行えません。本ミーティングは2019年の発足以来、現ユーザーおよび今後のユーザーが相互に交流し、情報を交換し、発展を図る機会を提供してきました。今回で7回目となります。JILAのQizhong Liang博士と東京大学の杉本良介博士の招待講演が予定されております。ユーザーはもとより、ご興味ある方々の積極的なご発表・ご参加をお待ちしております。
今年度もZoomと現地会場でのハイブリットで開催いたします。英語と日本語の両方のセッションを予定しています。参加コストの低い研究会を目指し、参加費は無料です。
